How to make perfect porridge
tall pot
get it on a medium heat
a Cup full of Jumbo oats (taste better than the regular sized oats)
recipe for four people
water
3 Cups of water into the pot
a nice pinch of seasalt
this is the classic scottish way do do it
cooking
use the back end of a wooden spoon to stir it
cook it for 10- 15 minutes
dont use any cream or milk
burns easily, really hard to clean
Porridge is very high in fibre
after 13 minutes of cooking,you can add some milk
add some honey to get a sweet flavour
garnish
strew a bit of Brown sugar over your porridge
the sugar is going to be caramel
golden syrup( can get it in quite a few countries)
poppy seeds + coconut pieces + cinnamon
mash up a banana
put frozen fruits into a pan and add some Brown sugar
mix the Porridge with hot chocolate and garnish it with jam
