Again, the source material is a Philip K. Dick story, but more pressing is how Decker kills the two female-presenting androids he is hunting. They are killed in grisly, cinematic scenes where Decker's massive hand cannon explodes their torsos, with blood flying. Compare this to the death of Roy's big friend whose death is a quick, clean shot to the head, or Roy's himself when he succumbs to his time limit, delivering a beautiful soliloquy about his experiences.
