Fabric: Simple and cheap material, allows for complex designs if used well
Cotton: Extremely comfortable material, however could be more expensive compared to fabric.
Small pieces of leather: Adds a layer of complexity as well as sophistication, however this may not fall into our price budget (<$15)
Due to the size restriction capping at a 30cm by 30cm square, this bag could only be targetted towards certain aspects of sports. For example, a basketball would not fit inside however shoes, would. Inorder to make this effective I will need to ensure that the material I use is not only durable but also soft thus not harming or scratching any valuables located within the bag.
If my final design revolved around the idea of carrying around school, the fabric I utilize must be durable in order to support our textbooks as well as other utensils. The bag should also contain a certain amount of flair as every student wants to be different.
Could be used for shopping purposes, this would mean the material must be durable as it would need to suffice for other objects. My bag would also need to be somewhat fashionable as they would be carried around shopping centers.
This could be created through a type of fabric known as canvas, this is immensely safer towards our environment compared as well as extremely more durable.
Could be used to carry small scaled equipment, this could be smaller balls, shoes, rackets, and any other small pieces of sporting equipment.
Could be used to carry around educational supplies. This includes textbooks, pencills, pens, erasers etc.
Could be used to carry new-bought items. Typically a form of a tote bag.
Rectangular pockets: Would allow for greater amount of surface area and would increase the size of pouch/pockets.
Circular pockets: Allows for a sleeker as well as extremely minimalistic design. However, this shape may not accommodate all objects or items.
Ovular pockets: Similar to the circular shape, this shape would allow for a sleeker design but would not work with all objects
Triangular pockets: The implementation of triangular pockets will allow for multiple edges and access points to once central pocket.
