In kindergarten, 85% of students are excited to learn and cooperate in the classroom. In grade 4, 61% of students are very resistant and only cooperate when they are forced to. By the time of 5th grade, less than 50% of parents are supportive of their child's grades. In high school, 40% of students are completely disengaged with their classes. This shows that student start of enthusiastic, and as time passes and the amount of homework given increases, they are quickly discouraged and stop enjoying learning at school.
