Made 4 requests for medical care, up until the day she died.
Was CLEARLY not doing well, her symptoms included:
Blood pressure not even able to be recorded because it was too low, staff just recorded that it was too low to record.
Sweating, diarrhea, vomiting bile, dry heaving, unable to keep food/meds/fluids down, weak, unable to stand or walk for long periods of time, body aches, insomnia, heart beating hard/fast, muscle cramps/twitches, “feel near death-
Toward the end Madaline reported: "I haven't been able to keep food, liquids, meds down in 6 days ... I feel like I am very close to death. Can't hear, seeing lights, hearing voices. Please help me."
Died in her jail cell, alone
Lab tests later showed no drugs – not even medication – in her system.
