INTERACTION FUNCTION
Interaction
-
-
Stimuli: information recieved by receptors. EX: image, sound, smell, flavour...
Is the vital function by which we rpercieve what is happening in the environment and we give a response. The final goal is to survive.
Stimuli send information to the receptors, the receptors give signals to the brain, the brain sends information to the effectors and a response is performed
Senses
Sight
-
Eyes
-
- Inner layer (Retina): It is the most protected. It contains the photoreceptors. These can be:
-
-
-
-
-
Smell
The olfactory vells are connected with the olfactory nerve through several axons. The olfactory nerve is connected to the brain.
-
-
Hearing
Parts of the ear
Middle: Eardrum (M), Macleus (B), Incus (B) and Stapes (B)
-
-
-
Taste
By this sense, we can percieve tastes.
The receptors are in the tongue, inside taste buds.
-
Touch
In the skin we have thermo, noci and mechanoreceptors
-
-
Receptors
Internal
-
They measure the blood pressure and the levels of glucose, mineral salts...
-
-
Kinds
Mechanoreceptors: recieve physical substances. they are in the ears and in the skin. They provide us touch and hearing.
-
Chemoreceptors: recieve chemical substances. They are in the nose and tongue. They provide us smelling and taste.

Nervous system
Nervous impulse
-
They can transmit electricity because some ions enter and exit the neuron constantly. This is why nerons always have a negative charge
Synapse
-
It's formed by presynaptic neurons, a synapse gap and a postsynaptic neuron
The neurotransmissors are located at the end of the axon and are inside vessicles to transmit the information to the dentrites of the next neuron
Neurons
There is a variety of shapes and sizes, but they have the elements of a normal cell
