Alliteration: the occurrence of the same letter at the beginning of adjacent or closely connected words.

Semantic field:a lexical set of semantically related items, for example verbs of perception.
How to deal with poetry
Step one:Read the poem, work out what it is about.
Step two:read the poem again, think about who is speaking and what their main message is.
Start to think about hoe the poem makes you feel at each point, break it into stanzas and make notes on what you think about each one.
Pick out the key words/phrases and structure points that are being used to make you feel that way, label these in the poem.

Start with a brief summary of what the poem is about, only 2-3 sentences.
