CHAPTER 1 VIDEO RESPONSE
MARVEL APP PROJECT
The problem I wanted to address through creating my app was the seating in the library. I made it possible to view all the different types of seating and where was available. I also addressed the concern of study rooms. I know that through my own experience it is often hard to acquire a room and you may need it for a group project or just to be more focused while working. So I created a place in the app where you could reserve a specific room for whatever date and time you needed.

"HER" FILM ANALYSIS
The film Her, directed by Spike Jonze depicts the life of a man named Theodore in more technologically advanced time. At first glance he seems like the typical middle-aged single man living in the city. Good at his job, lives alone in an apartment, and isn’t outwardly social with the world around him. As the film progresses however you begin to see what life for Theodore is really like as he struggles with the idea of being in love with his operating system, Samantha. Samantha is the “her” in reference to the title of the movie and as the film progresses you get a sense of just how much she is contributing to Theodore’s life. The relationship between Samantha and Theodore is the main driver for plot development and allows the viewer to see the many number of things Theodore is overcoming as a result of his attachment to Her.
