skills and ability. skill is something you can learn from training and practising. an ability is something you inherit from your genes.
open skill - closed skill / an open skill is a skill that if effected by the environment around them where the performer must react and adjust to surrounding
externally paced - self paced / self paced is starting when you choose and moving when you want, when the performer wants to start them. externally paced is started in responce to an external factor.
basic skill complex skill / a basic skill is performing a skill that requires little concentration. a complex skill is a skill that requires a lot of concentration.
fine skill - gross skill / a fine skill is a movement using a small range of muscles and movements, gross movement is moving using a lot of muscles and movements to do it
goals
type of goals / there performance goals and outcome goals. performance goals is setting a goal that you want to achieve within the game like a personal best. an outcome goal is a goal set for the outcome of the game, the result of the game, like if you have won.
S - specific / must be specific to the demands
M - measurable / must be able to measure it, the goal achieved. A - accepted / the target must be accepted by coaches, others. R - realistic / make it so you will be able to achieve it. T - time bound / the goal must be achieved in a certain amount of time.
information process - this is the name given to a performer when that performer goes thought when they make or acts on a decision.

feedback - the feedback that the player gets after he has performed and how he can improve on what he does with the information.

arousal - the physical and mental state of alertness and readiness, varying from a deep sleep to intence excitment
guidance
verbal guidance - this is giving guidance through taking to them describing how the skill should be performed
manual guidance - is guidance that the coach physically moves you to show you how the skill feels to perform
Mechanical - Mechanical Guidance takes place when when objects or aids are used to assist in the coaching process.
These could take the form of floats in swimming or harnesses in diving, gymnastics and trampolining.
visual guidence - is the gidence that you learn the skill when looking at it, if the coach shows you a demonstration.

aggression - the deliberate intend to try physically or mentally hurt someone, but in sport it can be controlled
Direct Aggression - Direct aggression is aimed directly at other players or participants and involves physical contact. As long as the directly aggressive act - the punch in boxing that wins a point or the tackle in rugby that wins possession of the ball - is within the rules of the game the game then it can be used to improve performance and to be successful.
indirect aggression - is using the aggression to gain an advantage, using the aggression towards an object, for example in tennis the aggression goes towards hitting the ball.

clothing, equipment and footwear - the sponsors can supply the performer with all of clothing, equipment and footwear
Facilities - Sponsored facilities are often named after the sponsor and can include basic training facilities sponsored bu a local company right up to a stadium used by big team.
