Active Recovery
Same activity at a lower intensity to increase blood flow to help remove waste products (e.g. lactate). AR can also prevent venus pooling (where blood builds up in the veins)
Passive Recovery
Sitting, standing or lying down enables CP stores to replenish. 30 secs - 70% replenished CP stores, 3 minutes - 98% replenished, 10 minutes - 100% replenished. Required for the ATP-CP system. O2 enables CP to be replenished ∴ athletes who are aerobically trained can replenish CP faster
Energy Systems Interplay
There will be a predominant energy system that will be a major contributor to energy production/ATP production
