This piece is all to do with eye contact and this is really important and considered a major factor in other styles of acting and most of the acting world as well.
DV8s three ballets is a movement piece and you can see DV8's stamp on it because it's very dance based but it is still within the realms of physical theatre because they use certain movements that would not be used in dance.

Frantic take physical and tend to blend it with realism.
Fun Fact: they don't like to be called a physical theatre company.

This is a company called Complicite and they are very surreal with their style but it works for them the first clip I saw was from the BBC in 1985 when the company was first formed and they at the time wanted to break the traditions that were being with held in theatre at the time.

This piece of movement has some of the most dialogue in a DV8 piece and they have started to blend words into their pieces.

Greek Masked Theatre is where a lot of mime is believed to have spanned from.
Karcocha is a Mexican Mime who performs on the streets not just of Mexico but of the most of the world he blends traditional mime with elements from the silent comedy era very similar to Charlie Chaplin.
there used to be a divide right up until the 1990s between artists and actors who were divided over naturalism and people who took on physical theatre and breaking the traditions of Stanislavski.
I really like naturalism and Stanislavski but I love the physicality of movement theatre and masked comedy, luckily both have started to blend together more however there is definitely still some divide but people have different opinions.
