Lean On Me & We Will Rock You A cappella (Lighting (Marylin) (I think…

- - - - I agree with Jovenna Lean on me is a very jazzy song in my opinion, and by snapping our fingers we can keep the rhythm and keep us on tract as well. I think that it will become upbeat over time. I believe that Lean on me is quite a happy but a slower song. As you can see in this cover it is quite a slow song but it can be sped up but there is a limit.       - I think that lean on me could be more slow peaceful and happy, we can tap our legs and follow the rhythm so that it can also allow the audience to be more into the song because they tap along with it. I do this . too when i really like the song, so to make the performance more dramatic and cool, we can just enhance the beats using the music styles and etc... also with body movement. i also agree with he others. - kelly
  - - - During Lean On Me the soprano group and the alto group should harmonise together. This will sound beautiful if done correctly. The audience should be able to hear the different voices and how well the go together to create beautiful harmony. This will make the audience feel more at ease and wanting to hear more and more because of of well different voice go together. -Jovenna
        
        During "We will rock you" I think it's gonna be amazing when we harmonies during we will rock your part because it allows space for us to sing with full control it is also much easier to harmonize it will make a powerful voice altogether. As for " Lean on me" I think it will sound angelic and beautiful as the song progresses I think because of the harmonies it will make the song more powerful but alluring. - Marylin
      - I think that for lean on me the song should be more sweet . and slow. At the beginning of the song The singing stye and technique is more chest with one harmony that is mixed voice/ more chest. I think hat the harmonization that we do is really good and helps us sound . better as a group of sopranos even mixed with the altos. - kelly
- - - - Kelly: I also strongly agree with this, contrasting with the soprano group can really show the effort. it shows the different sounds and the difference between the singing groups because of the pitch that we . were singing. I . think that this . really helps differenciate your group.

I think hat this idea is very fit with our song because lean on me isnt a song that fits with punk and rock outfits although the transitioning song is we will rock you. I think that we all should wear black jeans and a white shirt or blouse. It is white which fits with lean on me but the jeans gives the punk vibe that will soon be displayed in the song. The two songs are very different in many ways, so I want to make it fit the theme by also including some black or blue jeans to show the innocent and young life that both songs somehow give off. I dont want to wear white dresses cause that will make it seem like we are going to church or praying but we want to look peaceful and pure just like how the song lean on me portrays.
