Thesis Statement
Students should not have to wear uniforms or at least be able to personalize them with sweatshirts or coloured shoes because uniforms restrict self-expression & personality. Also when students wear regular clothing, it lets them show their creativity and talents. Some people say that there is less bullying when students have uniforms on but uniforms only make us look the same, and may not change characteristics.
2nd Main Argument
Self expression & personality
Most people express their personalities with what they wear and if we take away that, then we are also taking away part of their personal identity.
When students are wearing casual clothing their mood seems to be happier and more up lifting.
If students wear casual clothing they usually feel more relaxed and happier going to school than complaining about how hot or itchy uniforms are and how they don't get to be different in their own ways.

Creativity and Comfort
With some students their talents are expressing their selves with fashion because it shows their creative side of them.
When students wear non-uniform clothing it can inspire them to be creative and think outside the box for choosing outfits and allows them to show that they are different than each other.
Students are able to be more athletic and don't have to worry as much as they would for a uniform because when they are playing, they don't half to worry about their kilt or skirt flying up.
When you are studying for a big test or have to do lots of notes,
you most likely will want to be comfortable when doing this instead of being in an itchy, hot, and uncomfortable uniform.
1st Main Argument
Bullying
When we are all wearing uniforms people think that no one can bully anyone now that we are wearing the same things but most people will start to judge others like who wears what better and compares each other.
If we all wear casual clothing that is different from others we should just except that everyone is unique and different.
Most people think that if everyone is wearing the same thing then there will be less bullying but Bullies try to aim at the insecurities of the person and hit them there. Maybe clothing is not there insecurity.
