Cardidopa
Mechanism of action
Levodopa is converted to dopamine via the action of a naturally occurring enzyme called DOPA decarboxylase.
This occurs both in the peripheral circulation and in the central nervous system after levodopa has crossed the blood brain barrier.

Does cross the blood-brain barrier, and presumably is converted to dopamine in the brain.

Storage condition
In a dry, clean, well ventilated area at room temperatures between 15° to 25°C (59°-77°F) or up to 30°C, depending on climatic conditions.
