Von Neumann Architecture
Controller
The controller or the control unit sends and receives signals from different parts of the computer. It makes sure that all the processes happen and make sure that they happen at the right time and in the right order.
ALU
Processes and manipulates data. The ALU (Arithmatic and Logic Unit) also performs simple calculations on the data that is temporarily stored in the registers.
