- - - - Theological determinism: humans do not have free will and so God has absolute control over all our actions. This comes from the fact that God is omniscient.
      - Other say that God sees the results of our future, but does not determine them. This is because He is transcendent.
  - - - If God can do the logically impossible than the problem of evil will suggest that God does not control evil within the World. many scholars, including Hick and Plantinga, agree that God can only perform the logically impossible because God has allowed humans to have true free will meaning that they have the chance to get rid of evil.
      - If God is the creot of everything, he must have created evil. Other say thate vil was created by humanity. Hick: evil lets spiritual developmemt to be the children of God.
    - - Many Christians go onto say that because God is omnipotent, he must be creator of all things. However, there are 2 main contrasting beliefs about creation.
        
        ex nihlo: God created universe 'from nothing', Gen 1 in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. This s the revised standard version, the traditional Hebrew view is 'the earth being without form and void'
        
        Some Christians believe that God created the World ex Deo (out of Gods own being). Whoever, this contradicts the idea that God is transcendent (beyond space and time) and 'wholly other' as it implies that God and His creation are the same thing. :pregnant_woman: process theologians believe that God and Universe always existed together, and God ordxered per-exsiting chaos.
