Fungizone Intravenous (Amphotericin B for Injection) contains amphotericin B, an antifungal polyene antibiotic obtained from a strain of Streptomyces nodosus.

This is a Competitive inhibition of purine, pyrimidine uptakedrug used to treat serious fungal infections

CONTRAINDICATIONS

•decreased function of bone marrow

•decreased white blood cells

•low level of granulocytes in the blood

•liver problems
