the strikes started, they force the Tsar to abdicate on his way back from the war.
provisional government - the replacement for the Tsar.
strengths - they made workers unions and they started freedoms which could be bad as the extreme parties could challenge again.
weaknesses - they decide to stay in the war, everyone wanted to leave the war. they still have food problems and they prolonged elections, they kept holding them back.
dual power, "order no.1" they both have to agree and cant sort anything out

they launched an offensive army attach that failed. all the other problems still exist.
there is a strike by workers, that Lenin fails to join in. the petrograd soviets do not join in
Kornilov revalt
he was a general in the army, he wanted to get rid of the prov gov because they are weak
the wanted to over throught the government and wanted marshal law which meant the Army are in-charge.
this didn't work because they released an armed bolsheviks and the people strike against it. the bolsheviks stop the trains convince them to stop going against the government.
