Persuasive Speech Topic: How Socialism can harm an economy.
Socialism- Is a type of economy or "Theory of social organization" where all money and production is distributed to the government and then redistributed to the citizens usually equally. Also private ownership of business is completely thrown away as everything is state run.
There is close to no Economic Freedom. The government Owns Buisnesses
The population can't make money through consensual trade between each-other., they have to get money through the government or the government employing them, this is ignorant because one great advantage of having a population is that they have the power to not only great capital through business but you can tax them on the trade or business making money as as government.
In some versions of Socialism Everyone makes similar amounts of wages even though they do different jobs. The government decides wages.
everyone makes the same amount of money but because they do different jobs which possibly could be harder people refuese to work and riot.
The government runs all businesses. No citizen can.
this causes the government to run thousands of businesses which they can't so some businesses are left behind and taken down. Without all these businesses this causes the economy to slow down
What is good about Socialism
There is close to no wealth inequality
People don't have to worry about making money and can spend more time on family or social life.
Nobody gets left out everyone gets their share
In my own words I describe Socialism as Government providing equality in the Economic Sense by either severely limiting or completely abolishing economic freedom. This means that all trade, including businesses, are State Run, and wages are made through the Government and usually provided equally to everyone.
Venezuela
Socialism in Venezuela is used in a very common way. In the way
that every business is state run.
Martino, Daniel Di. “How Socialism Destroyed Venezuela.” Economics21, 21 Mar. 2019, economics21.org/how-socialism-destroyed-venezuela.
To say it simply, not at all. Venezuela before socialism was a prosperous nation. In the 50s to 80s Venezuela was experiencing high GDP Per capita and was actually the richest country in South America. Now they are in a crisis now that the Socialist party led by Chavez then Maduro that caused hyperinflation due to the fact that the economy under socialism is not only too hard to run because a government cant handle thousands and thousands of business to run but there is no room for economic growth. But with Venezuela it has a surplus of Resources which adds the failure of Socialism.

Mr Maduro has faced a severe economic crisis hastened by the collapse in the price of oil, which provides Venezuela with more than 90% of its foreign revenue according to bbc news
The reason my claim is true is that after Nicolas Maduro took office In 1999 the economy started to collapes due to his socialistl leadershiip:
According to Tech Crunch.com Once considered one of the centres of wealth and innovation in Latin America, Venezuela’s capital Caracas now stands a shell of its former self, having seen a core of top talent leave for other countries on the continent.
Another reason that the factors of Socialism fail in Venezuela is the failure to diversfy its economy. This results on an economy depandant usually on one resourece, In Venezuela's specific case it was very oild dpendant with 90% of revenue coming from oil. To further explain America has 28 million buisnesses of those are 22 million smaller buisnesses which add diversity.
Socialism in North Korea from an economic stand point is very bad. Under socialism there is close to no economic growth with limited capital and very low gdp and gdp growth

According to Medium US.com Cubas number 1 goal with social is workers rights and defending liberty.

No according to BBC News Cuba has failed to diversify its economy. This results in a not so good economy. Cubas GDP per capita is on 7 thousand dollars per year. This is due to the limited economic freedom which is a result of Socialism.

In my opinion yes. Capitalism is better because the goal of capitalism is to make money and have competition. Capitalism is in basic terms when a country's trade and industry are controlled by private owners for profit, rather than by the state(Some are state run). But this doesn't mean that there is only going to be large corporations. There can be small business. And with all these business's, jobs are easier to find. Business is important because the more consensual trade going between two different people creates money. This is in a sense is the ultimate goal of capitalism. To have consensual trade for labor or the product of labor through Capitalism. But because of Capitalism there will also be competition. This Competition will cause the strive for innovation for a new and amazing products and or services that will make any economy grow and will lower prices.
Because there is no Economic Freedom there is no room to grow and innovate
Socialist Nation are ruled by dictators: Cuba,Venezuela, North Korea
https://www.heritage.org/index/country/cuba
Due to everyone making close to the same amount of money which stops certain people from working because although they make the same amount of money some people will put in different amount of effort with the same salary
Cuba is an example of a socialist nation. Its economy is state run and it lacks a stock exchange. which hurts its economy.

Factors Used
One of the major benefits of innovation is its contribution to economic growth. Simply put, innovation can lead to higher productivity, meaning that the same input generates a greater output. As productivity rises, more goods and services are produced – in other words, the economy grows.Jun 27, 2017 According to the European Central Banks
