Mitch
Her relationship with Mitch is based off of her desire to marry and be stable, she likes mitch because he appears soft and easily manipulable.

Stella
Blanche has lost stella to the new south, whilst stella, in blanche's company, seems to revert back, overall she chooses stanleys side.

Stanley
Stanley is symbolic of the new south and whilst Blanche despises Stanley she still feels a deep sexual desire through him. Ultimately Stanley defeats Blanche who represents culture and arts.

Blanche is used as an allegory for the old south and culture, she has no place in the new south which is shown throughout the play. She has to hide her real identity and self image in order to be appealing towards others.
