Potasium sparing diuretics
Mechanism of action
It antagonizes the action of aldosterone on the renal tubule by binding in the sodium channels.
Indications
Nephrotic syndrome.
Cirrhosis of the liver.
Idiopathic edema.
Contraindications
Renal insufficient.
Anuria and hypersensitive.
Renal impairment.
Side effects
Skin rash.
Dry mouth.
Dizziness.
Route of administration
Orally and injectable.
Storage condition
Store between 15 to 30 degrees celcius room temperature.

Traimterence.
Amiroride.
Thiazide diuretic
Mechanism of action
This inhibit the passive re-absorption of water from tubules.
Water is able to pass back to the body.
Mannitol are filtered by the glomerulus and increase osmotic pressure in the tubule.
Indications
During cardiovascular surgery.
Lower raised intracranial pressure.
Contraindications
Severe pulmonary congestion.
Anuria.
Severe dehydration.
Side effects
Restlessness.
Constipation.
Muscle cramps.
Route of administration
Orally.
