Each turn a player plays a combat card, then flips over a monster ability card.
Combat starts with the player who explored the monster, then combat turns proceed clockwise
Combat Triangle
-
Each combat card is a symbol. Each symbol beats or losing to another symbol. The winning-symbol plays out its effect, the other has no effect

Monsters get a # of hearts/combat cards according to the stats on their card. Combat cards are placed facedown in front of their card.
