The end of the Holocaust was a bittersweet event. Jews, homosexuals, disabled people, black people and other people who had been imprisoned in Concentration Camps and Death Camps were freed, but very few were ever reunited with their families. Many even died due to malnourishment, disease or overworking, even after they were liberated.
