Inheritance
Sex Linked Inheritance
- genes in which one carries
- genes that are carried by sex chromosomes
Pleiotrophy
- the production of one gene controls the phenotype of unrelated traits
Complete Dominance
- looking like more of one parent than other
Epistasis
- the effect of locus being dependent on the presence of modifier genes
Incomplete Dominance
- one allele not being completely expressed
Polygenic
- one characteristic being controlled by two or more genes
Codominance
- having two different eyes colors, possibly one from both parent
- both alleles in a heterozygous pair are both expressed
Dihybrid Crossing
- cross between F1 dihybrids
- the results of this crossing would be two parents having recessive alleles but display a dominant phenotype
- the set up for this cross is simple, there has to be two traits that contain two different alleles
Monohybrid Crossing
- the following of one character and that character being heterozygous
- results of this cross , would be each parent giving off a type off allele meaning all offspring will have the same genotype
- for this process to take place, each parent is chosen to be homozygous for a trait

Multiplication Rule
- used to determine the probability
