Elders are called and appointed by God, confirmed by the church leadership, and appointed to the task of leadership. Elders must be committed and devoted to the ministry of Christ that entrusted to them by simple being responsible, being a good examples to the flock, giving the church direction, teaching the people, and in general, leading the congregation. Elders are to listen and pray; to love and care for the flocks. The Elders central focus in their life and faith is Jesus Christ. Their eyes is fix on Jesus, never neglect or abuse their flocks, and most importantly be at present even when we are in the worst and the good times. The Elders or Pastor is simply ministering to God's people with genuine love, good intention, and good relationships. Love them as God loves you. Serve them as Christ came as a servant. Elders are to present Christ,witness for Christ and bring glory to God.
