        with no intervention
      - Delayed primary
        Indication: infected/contaminated
        MOA: wait 3-5d then closure
      - Primary
        Indication: <12h of injury
        E.g. steri strips (thin lacerations e.. pretibial), glue (scalp), staples (scalp), sutures (face, neck, hands, trunk, limbs, feet)
        Fine sutures 6/0 for face, 5/0 or 4/0 for elsewhere
        MOA: physical closure soon after injury
        to bring edges of wound together
