Habits / Practices
Use "systems" (projects / habits) instead of "goals".
Goals mean you're in a continuous state of failure until that fleeting moment when the goal is achieved.
Brainstorm and write down 10 ideas every morning.

"Tell me about a time when..."
"Tell me about the day when..."
"Tell me about the day you realised..."
"What were the steps that got you to..."
"Describe the conversation when..."
There's a calming effect of acting instead of waiting.
Investing = To allocate resources (eg. money, time, energy) to improve quality of life
Discipline = Freedom
Take extreme ownership of your world - if you have problems, you'll handle them
Two is one and one is none - always have a backup.
"High-agency" = When you're told something's impossible, is that the end of the conversation, or does that start a second dialogue of how you're going to get around whoever it is that told you that you can't do something?
The hardest thing is to fail at something. And if you don't start failing, you'll never live a full life. You have to be prepared to fail. As you work through the process of failure and learning, you will really deepen into the human being you're capable of being.
You never have to be upset about anything
Failed your driver's license test? Better than failing in front of a cop or hitting someone.
Mission cancelled? Good. We can focus on another one.
Didn't get the high-speed gear we wanted? Good. We can keep it simple.
Didn't get promoted? Good. More time to get better.
Didn't get funded? Good. We own more of the company.
Didn'tget the job you wanted? Good. Go out, gain more experience, and build a better CV.
Got injured? Good. Needed a break from training.
Got tapped out? Good. It's better to tap out in training than to tap out on the street.
Unexpected problems? Good. We have the opportunity to figure out a solution.

People / Relationships
Assume everybody is doing the best they can with what they have.
Aim for the heart, not the head. Once you get the heart, you can go to the head.
Don't be so shy!
Make health priority #1 - all or nothing, not 50% of the time.
Robustness is when you care more about the few who like your work than the multitude who hates it; Fragility is when you care more about the few who hate your work than the multitude who loves it.
Don't ask "How my product is better than the competition?"
Ask "What category is my product first in?"
A problem is a terrible thing to waste - problems are gold mines.

Don't be so afraid. A lot of time and energy is wasted on being worried.
Life is not waiting for the storm to pass, it's learning how to dance in the rain.
75% of success is staying calm and not losing your nerve. The rest you figure out, but once you lose your calm, everything else starts falling apart fast.
Follow someone senior to you who you want to emulate.
Follow a peer who you think is better at the job that you are.
Follow someone subordinate who's doing the job you did before better than you did it.
The Dickens Process
What has each belief cost you in the past, and what has it cost people you've loved in the past? What have you lost because of this belief? See it, hear it, feel it.
What is each belief costing you and people you care about in the present? See it, hear it, feel it.
What will each belief cost you and people you care about 1, 3, 5 and 10 years from now? See it, hear it, feel it.
Define your nightmare
What is the absolute worst that could happen if you did what you are considering?
Envision this in painstaking detail.
What would be the permanent impact, if any, on a scale of 1 to 10?
How likely do you think they would actually happen?
Imagine damage repair
What steps could you take to repair the damage?
How could you get things back under control or on the upswing?
Outcomes / benefits
What are the outcomes or benefits, both temporary and permanent, of more probable scenarios?
What would the impact of these more-likely outcomes be on a scale of 1 to 10?
How likely is it that you could product at least a moderately good outcome?
Have less intelligent people done this before and pulled this off?
What are you putting off?
What are you putting off out of fear?
Define the worst case, accept it, and do it.
What we fear doing most is usually what we most need to do.
A person's success in life can usually be measured by the number of uncomfortable conversations he or she is willing to have.
What is it costing you - financially, emotionally, physically - to postpone action?
If you don't pursue those things that excite you, where will you be in 1, 5, 10 years?
How will you feel having allowed circumstance to impose itself upon you, having allowed 10 more years of your finite life to pass doing what you know will not fulfil you?
If you telescope out 10 years and know 100% that it is a path of disappointment and regret, inaction is the greatest risk of all.
What are you waiting for?
If you cannot answer this without resorting to the BS concept of "good timing", the answer is simple.
You're afraid, just like the rest of the world.
Develop the most important habit of those who excel and enjoy doing so: Action.
