Benito Mussolini did not directly influence WW2, however, his fascist thinking influenced Hitler to convince others that they could thrive under dictatorship. Mussolini also aided Germany and was a part of the Axis powers.
Joseph Stalin, Leader of the Soviet Union

Joseph Stalin reorganized the military and placed himself in control of many aspects of the military. This made him the strongest leader in the war. He took sides with the Allies when he believed that Germany was a threat to Russia.
Nationalistic Pride
This led to Hitler rising up to Chancellor and promising that Germans would once again be the greatest nation in the world.
Germany lent America money during the Great Depression and could not pay reparations to Britain and France
America
Pearl Harbor
America cut off it's oil supply from Japan because of their horrendous invasion of China. This resulted in a surprise attack from the Japanese military to Pearl Harbor, an American Naval Base. This formally entered the US into the war.
Anti-Semitism
This led to the Holocaust, one of the worst genocides in history.
Hitlers Invasions
The British Prime minister, Neville Chamberlain, appeased Hitler and his path of taking over certain countries, to avoid starting another world war. However, Hitler broke the promise not to invade certain countries and Britain declared war on Germany.
