Major functions of the Reproductive System
The major functions of the reproductive system includes the production and maintaining of sperm, the production of female eggs, creation of new life by interaction, and creates a cycle for women in which in ovulation, eggs are sent to the fallopian tube after being released.

Formation of gametes
Gamete formed which holds DNA and genetic identity. Chromosomes are mixed which leads to a new individual.
For male, testes ultimately become the result while the female have ovaries that mature from the sex cells.
Diploid cells are divided into haploid cells after the process of meiosis.
Formed during the meiosis of both male and female.

Hormones of the reproductive system and their regulation
For females, hormones that are produced by the body which are the estradiol and progesterone
Brain obtains follicle-stimulating hormone and leutenizing hormone
Ovaries activate the hormones of progestrone
The hypothalamus and anterior pituitary are mainly involved in the releasing of the hormones for the reproductive system such as organs and tissues.
Events of the female hormonal cycles
During the hormonal cycle of women, females experience menstruation, follicular phase, ovulation, luteal phase. All these stages occur for the egg which it is released, fertilized and create an offpsring that is provided by the sperm.
Disorders of the reproductive system (STDs & SYIs)
In the categories of sexually transmitted diseases, the included diseases are herpes, AIDS, syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, scabies, pubic lice
Some of the other disorders of the reproductive system include breast cancer, yeast infection, erectile dysfunction, prostate cancer, ovarian cancer, and prostatitis
