Put meats on bottom shelf of fridge.
Keeping meats on higher shelves can spread bacteria by spilled juices
Thaw food in a fridge.
Thawing foods at room temperature allows for the spread of bacteria
Make sure meats are tightly sealed to prevent spilled juices.
Washing hands for 20 seconds.
Not washing hands allows for germs to spread to items.
Use a seperate plate for raw and cooked foods.
Clean appliances before and after using them
Separate meats from others foods in shopping bags and grocery cart.
