they officially ended the war between Germany and the allied powers.
Germany didn't like the terms of the Treaty but they had no choice but to sign it
when they lost world war l they were held accountable for all things that were destroyed and what they lost at territory
after the war they suffered through many problems and they were angry. they wanted everything
Great Depression and the Rise of Dictatorships
during the Wall Street Crash, Europe suffered through unemployment& couldn't pay for loans
Germany, France. and Britain also went through the same thing
Europeans had to rely on kitchen soup and other things the government could offer
the Europeans government couldn't handle the crisis & with traditional they went into more crisis
Appeasement
Britain and France followed a policy of appeasement instead of the League to avoid conflict
they appeased Hitler, Britain wasn't ready to go to war they wanted to avoid it at all cost
Hitler's complaints and idea's were reasonable to cope with
both Britain and France gave him land, control, and everything so that eventually he could stop the war & be avoided
Aggression & Failures of the League of Nations
early in the 1930's, the invasion of Manchuria and Abyssinia affected people's belief in world peace
or also the ability of the league of nations to stop wars
all the countries start to leave the league, they don't help with the invasions
Hitler broke the treaty and attacked Germany
