Required Practical
- pour 50cm³ of ionic compound solution into a beaker
- place two carbon graphite electrodes into the electrolyte so they are not touching
- attach crocodile leads to the rods and connect the rods to a low-voltage power supply terminal
- switch on the power supply to 4v, passing an electric current through the cell
- observe and test the products formed at each electrode
