Love - Romeo and Juliet
-
Act 5
-
"I will kiss thy lips, [...] To make me die with a restorative." - 5.3
Juliet feels so overwhelmed by her love for Romeo, that when she sees that he is dead her immediate solution is to commit suicide as well.
The verbs 'kiss' and 'die' contrast and show the effect that love has had on Juliet and how conflicted it has made her. It could also suggest that their love was less trivial than it was initially presented, because she is willing to die for him.
The noun 'restorative' was used to mean medicine, which conveys that her idea of health is with Romeo and any future without him is unforseeable.
