Article 15 - Trademarks
Any sign, or combination of signs, capable of distinguishing goods or services from another must be eligible for registration as a trademark
Signs include: words, personal names, letters, numerals, figurative elements, colours or a combination of these
The owner of a trademark has the exclusive right to prevent all third parties from using identical or similar signs
The registration of a trademark which uses a GI to mislead the public as to the geographical origin of the good constitutes as unfair competition and must be refused
