Signs and symptoms
Polyuria
Very dilute urine
Polydipsia
Hypovolaemia
Hypotension and tachycardia
Pathophysiology
Lack of ADH or inactive kidney response to ADH results in insufficient water reabsorption by the kidneys hence the kidneys excrete excessive amounts of dilute urine
