Al Love - The worker at W.R Grace that admitted the company may have been at fault.
Anne Anderson - One of the parents filling the case who's son died of leukemia.

Plot
The plot of A Civil Action took place in the small town of Woburn, Massachusetts when toxic chemicals got into the water supply of the city and lead to the to multiple children getting leukemia and dying. The parents of these children wanted an apology and compensation with the deaths and suffering of their children.After a multitude of lawyers saw their case and concluded it would go nowhere a personal injury lawyer took the case seeing money in it with two larger companies in the suit. The case starts going downhill for Jan after the lose the case to Beatrice and he ends up losing everything to W.R. Grace and only making it out with 8 million dollars for the family's.
Key Moment
A key moment of the movie is when the defendant of Beatrice offered Jan an offer to settle the case with a settlement of 20 million dollars and he didn't take it.If he took this he could have both payed the families and kept his office and house instead he came out with nothing. I think that's when he truly lost.
