Civil Action Case

A Civil Action was made January 8th, 1999, the main characters are Jan Schlictmann, Jerome Facher, Anne Anderson. And plenty more So basically the story takes place in a small town with an epidemic of Leukemia, and there are leads following to two small factories in the towns. Which many people of the have come to conclusions that it may be them.
A key moment that i thought was interesting was from Jan realized it wasn't about the money anymore but getting the families justice for what happened, And another big moment in the movie i saw was when all of Jan's employees stayed and didn't leave him because i thought they would of left after he lost them everything.
I would recommend them this movie because its gives a great perspective on how unfair civil lawsuits can be. Another reason to watch this is because it has a great back story involved in it which you could learn a bit off of it.

The lawyers are betrayed as kind of cunning people such as the two defending companies they try to avoid their employees revealing information
1 example is when cheeseman the lawyer for the skinning factory tried avoiding the fact that an employee said yes to he knows what happened
The second example is when Jan Schlictmann started brining in the family's for the reviews or whatever it was. And he knew that if they testified they would win because the Jury would feel bad for them and the case would be won
I think the businesses are portrayed very negative which is a good thing because there was proven evidence to the reasoning I say that they are negative
The first example is when the citizens who don't work at the power plants talk about them, the only reason evidence of any pollution is from the two companies.

Jan didn’t want to take the case at first because the family’s had no prosecutution to go to court with, first he wanted the money but then realized he wanted true justic for the family’s. No because it would be a diffucult case because it’s a civil case where most are dismissed.
To the progression of the case I would presume. I felt a bit confused because how could they not be slightly not even worried about the fact of there being contaminated water?
Jerry knew if they testified the jury would fell their passion/emotions and they would easily win the case
The whistle blowers were two men that worked at the factory , they eventually said the truth because of all the guilt they had felt.
The whistler blower protection act prevents the revealers from being threatened by their own company or being assaulted to be quite
The clean water act was made to prevent what happened to the small town which was their water being completely contamination

Mr.Loves ethical dilemmas is when he had to choose how to take care of the case between his company alone or talk to Mr.Cheeseman and he decided to work with Cheeseman
Jan’s ethical dilemma is when he had to choose between continuing the case or go fully bankrupt which in the end he decided to put everything he had into this in order for justice .
