Human beings have a mind
Phenomenalism : Material object that we perceive are simply collections of actual or possible sense-data.
eg : When we hear screaming, followed by car crashed.
- memory and imagination form ideas that are ‘imprinted on the senses’, and perceived immediately by attending to the operations of the mind .
- our mind do not cause ideas.
the idea created for us or given to us by God.

- natural things have their own natural potentialities.
eg : fire has the potentiality to go upwards.
- adequate or actuality of causality form changes.
-hence, the form of change that occur is the actualization of the potentiality of that things.
eg : every changing, movement or transit require actual moving cause, God. God is the first mover or unmoved mover.
- the casual efficacy is due to God (Al-Ghazali).
