how you do it - the first step to find the mode is to arrange the numbers from least to greatest. the second step to find the mode is to find the number that appears most. if there are two numbers that appear most they are both the mode. when you use mode is if there are a lot of values that are the same.
EX.
1,1,1
,2,2,3,5 mode = 1
range
how you do it - the first step to find the range is to find the smallest and largest number. the second step to find the range is to subtract the smallest and largest numbers.
EX.

how to find it - To make a box plot you have to arrange the numbers from least to greatest. then you will find the smallest number and the largest number and the median and put a line on the number line of those numbers. the from the left of the median you will find the median of that area. then do the same on the right side of the median and put a line of all those numbers and make a box and for the smallest number and largest put a dot and connect it to the box like whiskers

how to find it - to find the I.Q.R you ave to subtract the upper quartile and the lower quartile.

how to find it - to find a statistical question you have to look for the words the mean more than one like, everybody. if it is talking about one person or thing than it is not a statistical question.
EX. how old is everybody at the restaurant?
Mean
how to do it - The first step to find the mean is to add all the numbers up. the second step to find the mean is to divide the sum of the numbers to the number of addins. when you use mean is when the numbers are close together.
EX. 1, 1, 2,3,5,2,1 mean = 3
median
how you do it - the first step to find the median id to arrange the numbers from least to greatest. the second step to find the median is find the number in the middle. if there is two numbers in the middle you find the mean of those two numbers. When to use median is when this is a extreme value
