Peasant who worked manually, jobs such as farming or being a maid for the upper class.
Lower class people had no time for anything they had just worked, ate and slept.

Men were in charge of everything, Head of the household.
They had all the better paying jobs, worked a lot more jobs

Women could not do much as they were very limited, such as the job roles they had, which wasn’t many compared to men.
Women were not allowed to play competitively but could participate in some sports if they had the money

There was no police force until 1829, this meant that there were no laws.

There would be a lot of murders in towns, even in sports such as mob football as there were no rules.
Education
In pre-industrial Britain the upper class was
educated and literate where
as the lower class was not educated or literate.
Upper class could read and write so they had
more understanding of rules of sports so they
were able to play and create their own games.
Whereas the lower class
had more simple games and they would be
able to understand it such as mob football.

Horse and carriage were for the rich as it was expensive and
hard to get as the horses had to be trained correctly.
