WATZIN CERAMICS- CERAMIC KITCHENWARE & DINNERWARE PRODUCING PROCESS
1)
To produce Kitchenware and Dinnerware, Dolomite Clay and other materials are used. Molding process is used to form the clay body. First, the mould is made by Molding Casting. The type of casting method used here is roller casting
After 20-30 minutes, the clay body lose moisture so it can be removed from the mould
After the clay body is removed, the clay body is shaped into jugs and cups. The products is scrubbed with water and sponge so that the wall of the jugs and cups are smooth
The jugs and cups are then trimmed to remove unwanted parts so the product are clean and neat
4)
Decal Putting
Decals are images or designs printed on a special paper so that they can be transferred onto a glazed surface and then fired
Decoration Firing - The products is then fired at a temperature of 830 degrees, which meets European Standards for FSQ ceramics (global standard). At this temperature, the decal will be completely melted with the glazed. The products are then ready to be packaged
2)
Bisque Firing
Bisque firing is the very first firing of pottery before it is glazed. The pottery goes through a bisque firing at a temperature of 1080 degrees. This will remove the water from the clay bodies and increase its density
3)
Glazing Process
Glaze can serve to color, decorate or waterproof an item. This step is vital for producing ceramic items that will meet '"Food Service Quality" standards. Only the highest quality glaze is used because the products need to meet or exceed the Food Service Quality Standards.
Glost Firing
Glost Firing is a separate firing by which glaze is fused to clayware. It is the second firing that is used in this process. The products are fired at a temperature approximately 1080 degrees. After this, the glaze is fused completely with the product. The glaze products now have a shining luster
