TYPES of stress
Acute Stress
Comes on quickly and unexpectedly, doesn't last too long.
Chronic Stress
May leave feeling drained, lead to burnout if it's not effectively managed
Emotional Stress
Can hit harder, comes from conflicted relationship
Battling Burnout
Result of the prolonged chronic stress situations that leave people feeling a lack of control in lives.
TYPE A pattern
- behave in high stress mode most of the time.
- leisure activities turned into competition
TYPE B pattern
- low level of competitiveness, time urgency, and hostility.
- more easy- going
