Positive state of physical, mental and social well being. Not simply the absence of injury or disease- that varies over time along a continuum.
TYPES OF DISEASE
1) Dietary Disease
: results from malnutrition
2) Infectious Disease
: acute illness caused by harmful matter or microorganisms (viruses or bacteria)
3) Chronic Disease
: degenerative illness (heart disease, cancer and stroke) that develop over long period of time.
