Stalins blockade stopped american supplies going into Berlin to help supply their soldiers. The picture represents that by having one opening to berlin that they have controll of. It then causes the US to do something about it.

Since the soldiers in Berlin Are not being Supplied the US sent supplies by air to get them back on their feet. The picture shows the supplies being dropped over the soldiers camps in berlin. Later in the war they then set up organizations with or against communism.

The Iron Curtain is a line to separate Communism in Eastern Europe from the rest of the world. The United States and the Soviet Union didn't agree with the ways that they controlled their lands and they started to get upset about it. Then the US and Britain started to beleive the Soviet Union is trying to tun the world communist and they are going to do something abut it. To start up the war Stalin suppresed democracy in Eastern Europe.
