Factors that contribute
to food challenges
Climate
Certain foods that require a specific or near climate are always challenged as foods within winter will not bloom and produce enough within the requirements
Solution
Grow certain crops and harvest in a timed manor and alternate the location of crops within a suitable climate
Resources
Not enough resources like fertilizers and water will create a less likely chance of food developing well enough to sustain.
Solution
Stocking resources is good in case of scarcity within resources
Biomes
The Biomes that we decide to grow crops on may affect our production as if there isn't enough crops growing in forests or grassland and we are limited to using certain biomes, the type of soil and weather will affect the production.
Solution
Grow crops that can cooperate with the changes in biomes
Natural Disasters
A common natural disaster that affects food are floods as they will destroy the crops and drown the vegetation within that area, agricultural animals may be killed as well.
Solution
Creating flood walls can resist the natural disaster or using locations that aren't high in natural disasters
Production
Not enough production in food could lead to shortages and market prices scaling to more than they should
Solution
We can use more land to create a larger chance of successful crops
Terrain
Mountain or hills are usually harder for growing vegetation and foods as the soil is not a good quality and is filled with rocks that cause a blockage within the roots
Solution
Grow crops that are suitable for mountain and hilly terrains
