The Jokers
Tier 1
For this phase I would select
"Behavior Documentation"
as Data Tracking System
for the 3 interventions

For high school students, I believe that these 3 interventions
are age appropriate and relevant because the students at this age have abetter understanding of the rules and consequences. They also know that consequences will escalate as they do not pay attention to their behavior.
Tier 3
-
-
-
For these type of disruptive conduct I suggested the above mentioned interventions because even though it is a misbehavior, it is not a harmful type and there might be hidden reasons behind it, such as; problems at home, lack of attention or social integration with the rest of the class.
There are some interventions that address the fact that the students do not seem to react to previous consequences.
Tier 2
-
-
-
As the behavior of the students does not improve after Tier 1, the intensity of the rules and classroom management should increase. The rules should be reviewed frequently and the consequences must be clear.
The Disrespecters
Tier 1
-
-
Clear, consistent and
predictable consequence
-
Disrespect is an issue that must be addressed immediately and assertively from the start. This is the reason why some of the interventions recommended from Tier 1 seem to be tough. Students should understand that this type of behavior will not be tolerated and that there will be consequences.
Tier 3
-
-
-
These are the last resources we have as teachers but it is important to let the students know that the measures are not only meant to be a punishment, but a learning path to improvement. As educators, sometimes we fail to teach students that consequences can be part of learning too.
To learn where to find help such as counseling sessions, to talk about the disruptions and be part of the meetings that will decide what are the next steps.
Tier 2

I chose the above interventions because at this point, students are showing consistent and defiant behavior. BIP seems like a good tool to keep track of the behavior of the student, not only in one class, but everyday during the day.
I also consider appropriate to send a questionnaire to the parents, so that they are aware of the situation and they are not surprised by some of the consequences. Keeping communication with them is vital for the student's behavior improvement.
