Vomiting: onset, character (blood, coffee ground, projectile),
timing (continuous, intermittent, better/worse), exacerbating/relieving factors (coughing), severity (volume, frequency)
Red flags: bile stained (obstruction), haematemesis, projectile in neonates (pyloric stenosis), after coughing (pertussis), abdo distension (obstruction), bloody stool (intususcception), shock/dehydration, seizures, poor growth
