Around the Mediterranean sea and some rivers, trade and culture spread and blossomed very quickly.
Waterways included the Rhine river, seine river, Loire river, Danube river, North sea, Adriatic sea, and the Mediterranean sea.

The Catholic church was a part of everyone's life because that was the religion of the King and Queen. They believed in God, Heaven, and Hell.
There were a lot of art pieces that depicted scenes from the Bible like in stained glass windows or paintings.
Cathedrals and churches had dome tops and in the inside, the domes were beautifully painted with intricate designs.

Democracy is a system of government where the citizens exercise power by voting. Democracy consist of 4 key elements: A politician system for choosing and replacing the government through fair elections; The active participation of the people in politics and the civic life. All of these laws apply to everyone equally.

The crusades were holy wars where the Jews, Christians, and Muslims fought over the Holy Land of Jerusalem.

The Queen was Queen Isabella of Castille. She became queen in 1478. Since she was the queen, she didn't really do much except pray and go to council company.
The end of Spanish inquisition was in 1808. The Spanish inquisition ended because Napoleon conquered Spain.

The Monks main job was to write the Bible because they were basically the only people who could write at the time.
A monastery is a building that can ave many different, separate buildings where the monks and nuns lived and worked. The nuns and monks lived alone or with other many different people.

Feudalism
Kings and Queens were the rulers of their civilization and was always on the very top of th feudalism chart.
Knights fought for their kings and queen. They fought with metal armor and swords. Knights are third on the Feudalism chart.
Serf were in charge of the land being healthy and to check if the crops were being grown correctly. The serfs were like the slaves so they were fourth on the feudalism chart.
