Appeasement
With these aggressive nations acquiring pieces of land that they want, little by little rulers of the nations became extremely greedy and demanded for more.
For instance, Germany under the control of Hitler. Since Hitler was such problematic, an appeasement was made between Germany and Britain. In order for Germany to remain from bring conflict to Britain, Germany would acquire land that Hitler wanted. This act only made Hitler want more and more land that Britain could not deny because of the appeasement.
Britain had decided that the best way to control aggressive nations is by giving them whatever they want in order to keep these nations from asking for more.
League of Nations
The four major powers: Japan, Italy, France, and Britain all betrayed the ideals of the League for their own benefit. Allowing these countries to become far more powerful in obtaining anything they wanted
Due to the incapability of keeping countries at peace with one another and their slowness, several nations began to remove themselves from the League. As an effect, nations decided it would be best for them to handle conflicts on their own. This caused an uprise of enemies and battles.
The Treaty of Versailles
This treaty caused Germany to take full responsibility of the destruction of World War 1. Including expenses of reconstruction, losing territory, as well as military systems.
All of Germany was completely enraged for the blame they were receiving. Germans felt the need to demand a change to once again reinstate all the items Germany had lost.
