Eletric Curent & Resistance
Electric Current Can also be classified according to the direction in which electrical charges move, in continuous or direct current and alternating current
Electrical Current can be classified into two different types
Current of conduction : This is due to the movement of free electrical charges (positive or negative) in a conductor
Current of convection: This is due to the movement of electrically charged bodies
Resistance
Electrical Resistance in represented by the letter R. In the SI unit it is represented by is the OHM, which is represented by the Greek letter omega
Greek letter omega :
Electrical resistance depends on the following factors:
Conductor diameter: The larger the diameter, the lower the electrical resistance
Type of conductive material : The greater or lesser the resistance depends on the materials resistivity
Length of the conductor : the longer the length, the higher the electrical resistance
V= Voltage. R = Resistance. I =
